When people are shy, it is sometimes better to catch them when they are doing something and maybe have no idea you have a camera aimed at them. They don't tense up and are focused on the task at hand. It helps me catch them at their best while minimizing their uneasiness.
This is also my chance to work with my colleagues as a second shooter. I back them up at special events, making sure to capture the pictures that tell your story. Additionally, I am available on an emergency basis if you have a photographer cancel, a sudden illness, or personal emergency. As long as I am not booked, and have enough time to get ready and reach the venue, I am happy to help you as a replacement.
